dosa mix recipe | instant dosa mix recipe | multipurpose mtr dosa mix with step by step photo and video recipe. dosa or idli or any rice-based recipes are an essential meal for many south indians. but generally, these are made with different rice and urad dal batter with different quantity of ingredients and proportions. but it can also be done with a single and balanced proportion and this instant dosa mix recipe is one such balanced premix where you can attempt dosa, uttapam, paddu and idli.

well, i have posted quite a few instant recipes till now, but this recipe of instant dosa mix is really handy. it’s not just because it can make really quick dosa recipe, but also a bouquet of recipes with it. even though the proportions are for a soft dosa, but a lot can be achieved from it. initially, my plan was to make a masala dosa premix, but it is very difficult to get the other recipes from it. for masala dosa, the batter has to yield a crisp roasted dosa and the combination is slightly different. especially the curd or yoghurt has to be skipped. hence i gave up the idea of masala dosa mix and pursued the multipurpose dosa mix recipe. in this post, i have shown several recipes but not the idli, but i am confident that you can also attempt idli with it.

furthermore, i would like to add some more additional tips, suggestions and variations to instant dosa mix recipe. firstly, i have added baking soda which may be an issue for some and hence can be replaced wit eno fruit salt. these fermenting agents are essential as we are skipping the natural fermentation process with the instant method. secondly, i have not attempted the natural fermentation process, but i am confident that if you leave the batter overnight it should ferment naturally. if you attempt this, then avoid adding baking soda as it is not required. lastly, in this mix, i have added poha which absorbs water quickly. hence, you may need to add more water once the batter is prepared and rested for a while.

finally, i request you to check my other breakfast recipes collection with this post of instant dosa mix recipe. it mainly includes my other related recipes like methi ka nashta, chilli garlic breadsticks, no bread sandwich, aloo aur besan ka nasta, , bombay sandwich, moong dal puri, cucumber idli, paneer toast, poori. further to these i would also like to add some more additional recipe categories like,
