Nine models are available in four series the four-door Jeep Wagonner station wagon, the two-door Jeep Cherokee sports utility model, the Jeep pickup truck and the traditional Jeep CJ-56, led by the Renegade sporting new "Levi's" interiors. All models feature a new electronic ignition system, engine modifications that boost fuel economy potential and driveability, new trim and ornamentation, quieter mufflers and optional radial tires. Changes incorporated in Wagoneer, Cherokee and truck models include new springs and shock absorbers, improved defroster, improved power steering system and new contour bucket seats. CJ-5-6 models feature improved electrical system, stronger frame, improved exhaust system and a new radio packaged in a weatherproof case.
Engine availability in the Jeep line remains unchanged for 1975. Standard in the CJ-5 is the 232 CID six; in the the 258 CID six; in the Wagoneer, the 360 CID V- 8 2-barrel; in the J-10 truck, the 258 CID six, and in the J- 20 truck, the 360 CID V-8 2- barrel. New options for 1975 Jeep Wagoneer, Cherokee and truck models include Cruise Command speed control, new AM-FM stereo radio and sports steering wheels. Electrically-heated tailgate windows are now available in the Wagoneer and Cherokee, and a new Decor group has been added to the Cherokee.
