About Marco A. Veintimilla Jr., PA-C
A native of Long Island, NY, Marco A. Veintimilla Jr.graduated from Marist College with a Bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and eventually led him to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Marco’s interest in the cardiovascular system led to a 10-year career as a Physician Assistant at New York Presbyterian, Columbia's Interventional Cardiovascular Care team. While there he worked in the cardiac catheterization lab as well as the inpatient cardiology floor. He worked side by side with interdisciplinary teams including the Heart Valve Center, where he would help manage an array of different cardiovascular diseases. Beside his everyday tasks he took on many different leadership roles and participated in their Physician Assistant Clinical Ladder Program with his main project focusing on reducing post cardiac catheterization bleeding.
