Honestly would not give them one star, but just had the worst experience atthe Troy location. Mixed meand other patient upand then said itwas myfault for answering toa different name. Iwas the only one inthat room and thought they just got myname wrong. Then they decided onnot giving mean exam till later that day and keep the other patient. They didn’t seem tocare that Idrive and lost myglasses and needed this appointment toget new ones.

I got aneye exam and I’m going back for glasses tomorrow. Myeye technician was amazing. Ididn’t get her nametho, she was apprenticing tobe anoptician Ithink. Anyways she was great and then Renee (with the accent over the elol) she has the MOST amazing patience Ive ever seen, awesome customer service. Really great crew over inthe Troy location. Thanks again.

My most recent visit has been the Worst experience I’ve had ina while! Between the machine problems towhere itdouble charged meto the attitude given when checking upon myglasses ifyou can gosomewhere else, just save yourself the headache!

Visionworks isa great place for exams/glasses, however, “DO NOT“use the location onHoosick RdTroyNy. The staff are absolutely the rudest staff that Ihave ever experienced. The elderly woman atthe front desk isextremely rude, and her demeanor islaughable. There isalso ablonde haired woman who may bea manager that isbeyond rude. Iwas supposed tosee anOptometrist, and had toend upwith aTelemed with aDr. When Iwent into pick upmy glasses, the young girl that looks like she hates herjob, didn’t even adjust myglasses. This place isabsolutely ajoke, and the staff are extremely unprofessional. Please trustme, STAY AWAY!… – show

My daughters glasses broke soi took them toget fixed atthe vision works inDelmar. They were rude and where not helpful. Idecided then togo tothe vision works onhoosick street. Danae Nickens was soextremly helpful. Mydaughter was very upset because the backup glasses she had was very old and she could not see well. Danae made her feel somuch better and was sopatient and agreat personality. Thank you much Danae. You are greatly appriciated

My daughter and Iwent topick upour reading glasses onMay 12th (Thursday) and had anexcellent experience with Renee and Heather. Itwas very busy but they reassured everyone they would get tothem. They were friendly and courteous! Noone had towait long and everyone was tending toclients. This iswhy Ikeep returning every year. You guys were amazing .. thank you Renee and Heather!

Recently wehad anexperience getting contacts for mycollege-aged daughter. The staff was incredible. They double-booked toallow usin onmy daughter’s break from school and Wendy isfantastic atwhat she does- teaching how toinsert and remove contacts. She isso patient, kind, and funny- wefeel really lucky tohave had her expertise. Thank you all for all youdo!

Place needs updating. Chair Isat inhad nowheel and Ialmost fell out ofit. Bathrooms are dirty and place inall needs updating! Next time Iwill goto Latham.Dr. Brien was great

If Icould give zero stars for this location Iwould. The employees are sounorganized and the whole place isdysfunctional. Iwent infor aneye exam and had towait way over anhour while the employees just sat around talking. People that came inafter meended upgetting their exams done beforeme. Iwas told 3different dates for when myglasses were going tobe ready and they never were ready any ofthose dates. Iended upwaiting over amonth for myglasses. The employees were soincredibly rude and kept telling meto wait for them totext/email mebut that never happened either. When Ifinally got myglasses they ended upgiving methe wrong frames but Ihad such ahorrible experience here that Irefuse togo back. I'm not bashing Visionworks asa company but the employees atthis location are the worst. It's definitely the worst customer service that Ihave ever experienced. They donot care about your eye health. Iwould not recommend this place tonoone.… – show

This isthe best kept secret ofTroy. Visionworks inthe Troy Walmart Plaza has been the best experience I’ve had getting glasses.
Prior tomy trip here Iwent toanother popular eye glass provider. Ihad trouble with myglasses giving meheadaches and making medizzy, went back several times and they told meI just “had toget used tothem”.
At myeye exam appointment Visionworks did adetailed eye exam and found that myRx wasn’t inthe right place inmy glasses which easily explains myiss
ues with myold glasses. Ialso found out other issues with myeyes that noother drhas found. They listened tome and didn’t dismiss myconcerns. Iended upgetting progressive lenses and Rxsunglasses both which I’ve never had and was apprehensive about getting. They reassured meif Ididn’t like them Icould exchange them within 100days. Ididn’t end upneeding toexchange them, they work perfectly.I will bereturning whenever Ineed aneye exam ornew glasses. Cannot recommend them enough. Also myglasses came inearlier than the 2weeks projected.

I have come tothis Visionworks office for years with mychildren and they have always been great. Iwas lucky enough tonot need glasses for years and just this past year had vision issues, retina surgery and ahorrid recovery. Got infor anexam today and asin the past they were amazing! From staff todoctor and back tostaff for glasses choicesetc. They were wonderful! Everyone took the time and answered all ofmy questions. They made mefeel comfortable and never rushed meout! Iwould recommend this office toanyone regardless ofthe degree ofneed. Thank you Visionworks!… – show

I have always liked Vision Works but with mymost recent experience Iwill never return again. The employee atthe desk was really rude and Ihad toreturn 4times toget side shields put onmy safety glasses which should have been onthere when they left. Ihave never had such anunpleasant experience. Iknow people are busy and itcan behectic but the unpleasant attitude and forgetfulness everytime isuncalledfor.

There’s nopossible way tospeak with ahuman tomake anappointment, everything isonline. The only time Igot tospeak with someone iswhen they called me2hours before myappointment today tocancel after waiting1.5months after booking. Myappointment was ona Saturday and they said Icould come Thursday asif Idon’t have ajob, hence why Ibooked ona weekend. Will never dobusiness with them again.
