    Showed upearly was told mywife's appointment would bebehind mine. Time came and went for mytime and people who came after uswere taken ahead. DrChen needs towork onhis people skills. Ifinished upand mywife was still waiting,4people taken ahead ofher. Staff sat around talking and not taking care ofbusiness, the one male person who took myorder, wrote upmy paperwork and printed out mybill and prescription was professional and courteous. The rest need anattitude adjustment. Willhave towait and see how the new glasses are and how long ittakes toget them.– show

      Trish, Alisa and the rest ofthe staff were extremely helpful and polite. The doctor answered all the questions Ihad. Great team!

        12/26Update:
        Changed rating from 5to 1star…
        After calling the store 3times over the last 2weeks Istill have not received mycontacts. The first 2times Icalled, Iwas told myorder had shipped and should bearriving soon since itdid not deliver tothe store and there was nocarrier, ship date ortracking number available. Today (the 3rd call Imade tothe store) Iwas told myorder shipped viaUPS, given atracking # and itdelivered tomy house on11/22. When Itold the representative
        that the tracking # she provided was not valid she told meI needed tofollow upwith UPS directly. How doI dothis without avalid tracking #?
        What adisappointing experience resulting infinding anew eye care provider going forward…

        On 11/19, Iwas able toschedule alast minute contacts exam atthe Horseheads location and want tothank everyone for areally great experience (Tranea, Alisa, Trisha, Erin, Charles andDr. Chen). Everyone was extremely friendly and professional and myappointment was very efficient and quick. Ihighly recommend scheduling your next appointment atthis location.

          I had myvision appointment today and since Iarrived tothe place everybody was very welcoming, but one member ofthe staff really stood upand that was Carrie; she was very patient and helpful specially while Ihad some payment issues. Kudos tothe team!
          It's very likely that,I will beback toget mynext glasses here.:]

            Customer service isnot the best inthis place. Exam was very quick for achild with noexplanation. Pick upprocess again asked noquestions tomake sure everything was good. Tomany personal conversations going onbetween workers and not focusing onthe people infront ofthem.

              Took exactly 2weeksto. Vision worse than old prescription glass. Went back, and they made anadjustment. Still can't use them onthe computer nor read with them. Far sight isnot asgood asold glasses. Empire saw this review and contacted meand asked towrite them directly sothey can fix this. Idid and haven't heard athing from them. Not even anacknowledgment ofmy email.

                I was returning glasses today and wanted topick new ones because the bifocal was tobig onthe pair Ipicked Well while Iwas returning then the lady didn't ask meif Iwas picking out new one she just put inthe computer for myinsurance And Ihave towait 90days toget new glasses Very displeased with this place!

                  Unusually long wait for new glasses. They were supposed tobe ready onthe 10th, then the 12th, then indefinitely. Ihave little confidence that Iwill ever get them.
                  Update: The glasses are finally here. Ican’t see aswell with them aswith myold ones. Now I’m waiting tosee anoptician. There isno option tomake anappointment, it’s walk-in only. IfI could give this business zero stars, Iwould.

                        The ladies atstore number 1054, are absolutely amazing towork with. Tra’nea, Arianna, Felicia, Trisha, Carrie, Peaches, and the mad scientist looking dude are awonderful crew. They work flawlessly together tocreate awonderful shopping experience.
                        When Iarrived topick upmy prescription, they were quick towork together toensure that they were adjusted for fit and comfort.
                        The next time Ineed glasses, Iwill definitely return tostore 1054.

                          I arrived atmy appointment 15mins early, even though Ihad already completed mypatient paperwork online ahead oftime.
                          I got infor mypre-exam shortly after Iarrived. Iwas asked totake out mycontacts ina room where asink towash myhands ahead oftime was not available, nor was amirror. After that initial exam Iwas directed back out into the lobby, where ittook over anhour tobe seen bythe physician. Once Ibrought itto their attention that Ihad seen many people come and goand
                          asked about anETA onmy appointment status, Iwas told that Iwas overlooked and forgotten about and would beseen next once the physician was available…and then another person was called back before Iwas.
                          When Ifinally got into the room with the physician, Ifelt VERY much like Iwas being rushed through myexam.
                          The customer service while ordering myglasses after was very unpleasantone. Iwatched how the lady interacted with other customers during the LONG wait for myexam, and then she seemed rushed and not very personable withme.
                          All the while, Iremained pleasant and understanding during myexperience, smiling and telling them “no worries”.
                          I had other options when booking anappointment, but Ichose this company and location based onthe reviews Iread…and now I’m second guessing mydecision.

                              Amazing service! The staff are incredibly welcoming and patient with all clientele. Ienjoyed speaking toeveryone asthey were very professional and addressed all myconcerns.They are some ofthe hardest working people I’ve met and it’s clear that they genuinely care about their clients and the service they provide.

                                I'd give the azero ifpossible. The doctor isawful doesn't give you time torespond. Hethen writes the wrong prescription soafter a2week wait you get towait another 2weeks. And then when they come back the second time the lab does the wrong prescription again soyou get another 2week wait. Don't goto this business goanywhere but there.

                                  I was ahappy customer ofthis store for 25years until myrecent recent eye exam for new glasses. Iwas examined byan online doctor. When Igot mynew glasses, Icould feel that the prescription was not quite right. Imade asecond visit with the online doctor, she refused tocheck myeyes again but insisted that her prescription was right. Idon't know what has been changed inthe store, but the service was sobad and rude. Ithink they lost meas acustomer.

                                    Trisha isincredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! Went for aproblem with myglasses twice, and aneye exam, and she resolved everything and explained itall clearly. 10/10

                                      Examiner was nice and professional, but the front desk was ajoke. Have three people just sitting there talking about their personal lives all while you already have everything picked out and just waiting toleave. Eventually when they’re finished talking then they help people that were there afteryou. Missing work for this.

                                        Terrible customer service @ the horseheads nystore! Too many personal conversations going onstill waiting toget myglasses going ona month. I'm sure the front desk clerk ismad because Imentioned lack ofservice. When Icalled 2wks ago tocheck onmy glasses the same girl said they aren't inyet but you can bet when weget them we'll callyou. very sarcastically still noglasses.
