These sugar-free caramel cinnamon rolls are low in calories and only 2 points on Weight Watchers. They are made with the easy recipe for 2 ingredient dough which is equal parts Greek Yogurt and Self Rising Flour.

I've been experimenting with the 2 ingredient dough so much lately. The grocery store by me has probably wondered why they started running out of nonfat Greek yogurt so quickly.

Why You Will Love This Recipe

This 2 ingredient dough recipe with self-rising flour and Greek Yogurt iis so versatile. You can literally make anything with it. Pizza, calzones, breadsticks, use it as a crust for some chicken pot pie, biscuits, you name it!

I wanted to make something sweet with this dough and lately, I've been wanting cinnamon rolls. Believe it not, but these cinnamon rolls came out to be only 2 smart points (for 1).

There are probably ways to make these even 1 smart point but if you add the caramel sauce that makes them be 2 smart points. Find whatever topping you like for your cinnamon rolls, me, I just love caramel cinnamon rolls!

  • Self-rising flour is a type of flour that already contains baking powder and salt, which are essential ingredients in many baked goods.
  • Greek yogurt is considered great for a variety of reasons. It is typically higher in protein and lower in sugar than regular yogurt, making it a good choice for those looking to maintain a balanced diet.
  • Erythritol (sugar substitute) - if you know the conversions for a different sugar substitute feel free to use that!
  • Cinnamon - is a spice that comes from the inner bark of several trees from the genus Cinnamomum.
  • Sugar-Free caramel sauce - such as Smuckers
  • 15 sprays of butter spray

How to Make Caramel Cinnamon Rolls

Step 1: Preheat Oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Combine flour and Greek yogurt inside a mixing bowl and blend until ingredients have formed.

Recipe Tip: If your dough still feels a little sticky, sprinkle flour onto dough until it feels solid and easy to separate.

For larger caramel rolls cut the dough into 4 equal pieces.

Step 3: Next, coat the cutting board with flour and lay the dough out on the cutting board. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough out to form a rectangular shape. (You can do this on a cutting board or clean work surface)

Step 4: Spritz the dough 15 times with butter spray. Sprinkle the dough with cinnamon and sugar.

Step 5: Roll the dough up so you have a long tube.

Step 5: Cut the dough evenly into 8 equal pieces. Place the cinnamon rolls into an 8 inch cake pan and bake in the oven at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes. Take them out of the pan and pour 2 tablespoons of the sugar free caramel sauce over the cinnamon rolls. Enjoy!

    I followed the recipe exactly. Mine came out kind of like a cross between a biscuit and a bagel... kind of a weird heavier texture than a regular cinnamon roll without the pull apart layers. The caramel topping helped sweeten it, but felt they were a little flat tasting. But.... also realize these don't have the huge amount of calories and fat as a regular one!!! I think this was a great, creative idea though!!!
