Well, if you’re like me, you love ranch houses, and the 45 floorplans offered by Home Stratosphere certainly offer something for every taste. I mostly like ranch-style because it’s one story but still manages to provide privacy for the residents. Let’s look at the way some of them do this.

Tuscan Ranch for a Wide Lot with Multiple Garages

If you’re lucky enough to have a wide lot and many cars too, then the Tuscan Ranch meets your needs. The master bedroom is at one end of the home with its own luxury bath and walk-in closet, while the other three bedrooms areat the other end, each with its ownen suitebath.

In between, there are great rooms and hearth rooms, and a den, but the center of this home is the kitchen. As I said, privacy galore, and who doesn’t love a house with a bathroom and a garage for every bedroom?

Single-Story 4-Bedroom Prairie Style Rancher for a Sloping Lot with Wet Bar and Angled 4-Car Garage

Talk about meeting your specific needs! How do you find a sloping lot on which to build your wet bar and angled 4-car garage? Still, despite that very detailed description, this house grabbed my attention. Again, I’m all about privacy, and this one has it.

The sloping lot lets you have a lower level that isn’t a basem*nt but has your family room and two bedrooms. They share a bath, but it’s still nice to be away from the central part of the house. On the other hand, the master suite with its huge bathroom and closet complex is the only bedroom on the main level but at one end of the house, ensuring it has privacy too.

There is a den on this floor that can be a bedroom, so if you have a child that’s too young to be a floor away, you can accommodate that. Once again, the heart of the home is the kitchen, joined with an open-concept dining and great room combination.

Two-Story 4-Bedroom Mountain Ranch Home with Angled Garage and Upstairs Bonus Room

I always thought a ranch was, by definition, a single story, but clearly, I’m wrong. Here I’ve done three houses, and two of them have two levels. Anyhow, the Mountain Ranch is gorgeous. It has a rustic, vaguely Asian flavor and a three-car garage. The master bedroom, bath, and walk-in closet occupy the entire garage end of the house.

With slightly less square footage, the other end of the home offers two bedrooms that don’t share baths but do share a toilet. The house has a large, reasonably formal great room open to the kitchen and dining area. Upstairs offers a huge bonus room with its own 3/4 bath – clearly a teenager’s bedroom in waiting. Or, for me, a library and office fair away from the noise.

So, why 45 ranch plans? Because we all love a ranch, but we want the exact ranchwe want – not your ordinary ranch! The choice is certainly here!
